Things to do in Steamboat

Hot springs
The popular hot springs make this destination a year-round outdoor playground with over 150 hot springs in and near Steamboat. Actually, the town got its name from the “chug chug” sound that the hot springs make.

Night Skiing
If you are looking for some extra thrills, do some night skiing at Steamboat. It is one of the few resorts in Colorado to still offer this opportunity to its visitors. Steamboat opens up five trails for visitors to choose from; two beginner trails, two intermediate and one advanced. If you do decide to take on this opportunity, something you should keep in mind is to dress warmly, make sure you have the right safety gear, don’t go alone and don’t forget to have fun!
