Things to do in Savannah

Savannah Walking Tours
From food tours to haunted pub tours, Savannah has a walking tour for everyone. The American Institute of Parapsychology named Savannah “America’s Most Haunted City,” so the town hosts over 30 tour companies that offer a haunted experience. In addition to spooky tours, Savannah is rich in history, culture and cuisine. During many walking tours (haunted or not), you’ll walk past several popular attractions like Forsyth Park, the Savannah Historic District and more. Savannah is home to over 20 historic squares, so there’s always a peaceful place to take it all in.

River Street
River Street is not only home to some of the best restaurants in Savannah but also some of the best shopping, drinking and sightseeing. In the middle of the street, there’s a WWII monument and nearby, there’s a free ferry that will take you across the Savannah River, which divides Georgia and South Carolina—so you can experience two states in a matter of minutes. Less than a 10-minute walk south, you’ll find East Broughton Street, which is just as lively.
