The Hyannis Harbor is home to the Hyannis Ferry ports which makes it the ideal place to dive into a breezy sailing trip and a boatload of other seaside activities. Popular ferry and cruise excursions include Hyannis to Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard, sunset cocktail cruises (we’ll cheers to that), sightseeing trips and deep-sea fishing trips.
Hyannis Whale Watching
Whale, whale, whale… In addition to the fishing and transportation ferries in Hyannis, the area is also known for some of the best whale watching in Cape Cod. This part of the cape is home to the endangered whale species, the North Atlantic Right Whale, so speed limits and proximities to the whales are taken very seriously. The window for whale watching is April through October, but the best time of year is during the summer months.
