Things to do in Denver

Skiing in Denver
Enjoy some of the best slopes in the US when you visit any of the ski resorts located in Denver, many just 2 hours away from downtown. Plan your next ski vacation to Breckenridge, Vail, Beaver Creek, Snowmass or many others.

Denver Broncos & Colorado Rockies
Opened in 2001, Empower Field at Mile High is home of the National Football League’s Denver Broncos. The stadium was nicknamed “Mile High” due to the town’s elevation of over 5,000 feet. You can catch a game here most weekends during the NFL regular season, which runs from September through December. About a 10-minute drive north, you’ll run into Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies. There you can watch a game during the MLB regular season, which runs in the spring and summer.

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
About a 30-minute drive from the heart of Denver, the Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a beautiful open-air amphitheatre built into the red rocks of Morrison, Colorado. In addition to the shows, movies and annual summer concert series, Red Rocks also has a park made for hiking and biking. Not only can you exercise on the trails but many also enjoy exercising in the amphitheatre itself for an extra challenge as its elevation is higher than 6,000 feet. You can also visit the Colorado Music Hall of Fame in the Trading Post at Red Rocks.
