Things to do in Antigua

Galley Bay & St. John’s, Antigua
Located in the northwest corner of the island, Galley Bay is about a 20-minute drive from St. John’s, Antigua. As the capital and key port of the island, St. John’s is known for their colorful architecture, sugar plantation ruins, variety of coral reefs and the baroque towers of St. John's Cathedral. One of our favorite resorts in the area is Galley Bay Resort & Spa.

Jumby Bay Antigua
Long Island, also known as Jumby Bay Antigua, is a small island just off the northeast coast of Antigua. The area is home to a wide array of wildlife, tropical foliage and pristine sandy white beaches. Some of our favorite resorts in the area are Pineapple Beach Club Antigua and The Verandah Resort & Spa Antigua.

Nelson's Dockyard
During the Napoleonic Wars from 1784 to 1787, this naval dockyard was the home and headquarters of the British fleet. Today, in the fully restored English Harbour, Nelson's Dockyard National Park is one of the best sightseeing exhibitions on the island. It is home to many hiking trails and docked boats that allow you to take a step back into time. The Dockyard Museum showcases exhibits about the Dockyard's history and current archaeological experimentation on the island. Being Antigua's largest national park, it is also filled with waterfront restaurants, bars and little souvenirs shops.
