Things to do in Amsterdam

Van Gogh Museum
Located in the heart of Amsterdam, the Van Gogh Museum houses the largest collection of Van Gogh’s artwork in the world. It is home to over 500 drawings and 700 hand-written letters from the artist himself as well as pieces from those influenced by his work. You can travel back in time through his earliest work which he completed while living in the Dutch countryside, or you can admire some of the self-portraits he did after he moved back to paris. While you are there, don't miss your chance to look at ‘Sunflowers’, one of the world’s most valuable paintings.

Keukenhof Tulip Gardens
If you are visiting during the spring, don't miss your chance to visit the Keukenhof gardens located 30 minutes away from Amsterdam. These gardens take up almost 80 acres and are home to about 7 million tulips as well as 1600 variations of flowers. In addition to walking around, you can enjoy flower shows, live music or a boat ride along the tulip fields.

The markets
